Background
Multiple diseases that involve the rectal region are currently treated by topical administration of ointments and creams. This mode of treatment reduces compliance, increase adverse effect and overall, regarded as unsatisfactory.
The Need
Currently, there are no drug delivery methods to the internal anal sphincter region. Our product will enable effective treatment to diseases that involve the region such as anal fissure, fecal incontinence, and hemorrhoids.
